Atlas Passenger Information Change Policy

I. General Policy

Atlas does not typically handle passenger information change requests (such as name, passport number, etc.) directly. The primary reasons for this are:

1. Identity Verification Requirements: Airlines often require passengers to provide identification documents, such as a passport, for verification when processing information changes. It is more secure for these to be handled directly through official channels.

2. Complex Procedures: Passenger information like names has strict formatting requirements. When multiple parties are involved, the risk of errors (e.g., misspellings, incorrect formats) increases.

3. Processing Time: As a non-official channel, Atlas's involvement would add an extra step, potentially lengthening the processing time. Dealing directly with the airline allows for a connection to their core systems, resulting in a shorter process, faster response, and helping to avoid travel disruptions due to delays.

Therefore, we recommend that you contact the respective airline directly through their official website or customer service call center to inquire about their policies and process any changes. This ensures information is updated promptly and operations are handled efficiently and accurately.

II. Special Circumstances Assistance

Atlas can only assist with passenger information changes in specific situations, namely when an airline's policy stipulates that such changes must be processed through the ticketing agent (Atlas). The list of applicable airlines is provided in the section below.

If your airline is on the list, and you require our assistance, the following conditions apply:

1. Request Deadline: Changes must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure.

2. Outcome: Atlas cannot guarantee the change will be successful. We can only process it upon confirmation from the airline.

3. Service Fee: A service fee will be applied for processing passenger information changes. Please refer to your contract with Atlas for the specific rates.
