# Spring Japan (IJ) Overbooking Policy

This announcement is only relevant to Travel Sellers currently distributing Spring Japan (IJ) content.

Effective **October 1, 2025**, all **Spring Japan** bookings (flight codes starting with 'IJ') ticketed through Atlas may be subject to overbooking practices, as directed by the airline.

**Required Actions – Deadline: October 15, 2025**\
If you distribute Spring Japan flights, you must complete the following to ensure compliance and maintain transparent communication with your customers:

1. **Download the Official Notice**: [**Access**](https://atlaslovestravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Spring-Japan_Overbooking-Policy.pdf) the policy document for full details and customer-facing communication templates.
2. **Inform Your Customers**: Display Spring Japan's overbooking policy clearly throughout your booking and ticketing process. Customers must be aware of this policy before completing their purchase.
3. **Confirm Your Compliance**: [**Email us**](mailto:globalgrowthteam@atlaslovestravel.com) by October 15, 2025 with proof of notification:

* A screenshot of the announcement on your customer-facing website/portal/booking confirmation emails, OR
* The direct URL where customers can view this notice on your platform

**Compliance Requirement:**\
Travel Sellers are responsible for adequately informing customers of this overbooking policy. Failure to provide clear disclosure makes your agency solely liable for any customer complaints, claims, or platform penalties arising from overbooking issues.

Atlas will not mediate compensation disputes related to Spring Japan flight overbooking.
