# Last-Minute Flights Now Available on Atlas

9 September 2026

Never miss a same-day booking again.

From 10 September 2026, Last-Minute Flights will be enabled by default for all Atlas global clients — giving Travel Sellers the ability to search, price and book flights departing within hours, and access to more inventory than before.

Whether it's a traveller booking a same-day connection or a flight leaving before the day is out, Last-Minute Flights extends Atlas's booking window right up to departure, with a clear, fast confirm-or-cancel process behind it.

#### What Qualifies as a Last-Minute Flight

A flight is treated as a Last-Minute Flight where the scheduled departure is:

* within the next 15 hours; or
* before the end of the current calendar day.

Eligible flights are identified in the API with the `LastMinute` tag and are available through the Search (Search.do), Get Offer (getOffer.do) and Fulfilment APIs (getOfferPrice.do).

#### Built for Speed: 5-Minute Confirm or Cancel

Last-Minute Flight orders are processed differently to standard bookings, so there's no ambiguity while a traveller waits:

* On submission, Atlas verifies fare and availability and starts the booking immediately.
* If successful, the confirmed booking and PNR are returned within five minutes.
* If the booking isn't confirmed within five minutes, Atlas cancels the order outright — there's no extended or manual pending queue.

That means every Last-Minute Flight order resolves one of two ways: confirmed within five minutes or cancelled. If an order is cancelled, you can resubmit it using Atlas's Order Regeneration functionality.

#### What This Means for You

Last-Minute Flights will be enabled by default for your account from 10 September 2026 — no integration work required if you're already booking through Search, Get Offer or Fulfilment API.

A few things worth flagging as you prepare:

* **Fees apply to confirmed bookings only.** Transaction fees are charged in line with your existing commercial terms, and only where a booking is successfully confirmed.
* **Ancillary and post-booking services remain available** on confirmed Last-Minute Flight bookings, subject to airline availability and time restrictions.
* **Last-Minute Flight confirmation:** Atlas does not guarantee that a Last-Minute Flight booking will be confirmed. We will provide confirmation within five (5) minutes of the order being placed; if the booking is not confirmed within five minutes, the order will be automatically cancelled. Do not treat an order as confirmed until Atlas has provided booking confirmation — Atlas will not provide a replacement booking or compensation where a Last-Minute Flight booking cannot be confirmed.
* **Availability.** Last-Minute Flights will be enabled by default for all Atlas customers, except where specific service levels have been agreed with Atlas. If you prefer not to use this feature, please contact your Account Manager and we will disable it for your account.

The [Terms of Service – Last-Minute Flights](https://resources.atriptech.com/terms-of-service/last-minute-flights) supplement your existing Atlas agreement and take precedence for Last-Minute Flight bookings specifically, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
